Jučer je u Ministarstvu mora, prometa i infrastrukture održan koordinacijski sastanak posvećen sigurnosnoj situaciji za hrvatske pomorce koji plove u području Perzijskog zaljeva i Hormuškog tjesnaca.
Sastanku su prisustvovali predstavnici Ministarstva mora, prometa i infrastrukture, Ministarstva vanjskih i europskih poslova, Ministarstva unutarnjih poslova, Hrvatske udruge brodara Mare Nostrum, Udruge hrvatskih posrednika pri zapošljavanju pomoraca CROSMA te Sindikata pomoraca Hrvatske.
Prema podacima prikupljenim putem hrvatskog integriranog pomorskog informacijskog sustava CIMIS te informacija Europske agencije za pomorsku sigurnost (EMSA), u području visokog sigurnosnog rizika – Perzijskog i Omanskog zaljeva – trenutačno se nalazi 225 hrvatskih pomoraca na ukupno 105 brodova i offshore platformi. Nadležna tijela napominju da bi stvarni broj mogao biti i nešto veći jer se pojedini pomorci ukrcavaju bez evidentiranja u sustavu CIMIS.
Za sada su zaprimljeni tek pojedinačni zahtjevi za iskrcaj i repatrijaciju. Budući da je Međunarodni pregovarački forum IBF, koji okuplja predstavnike brodara i ITF-a, Perzijski i Omanski zaljev službeno proglasio zonom visokog rizika, pomorci imaju pravo zatražiti iskrcaj o trošku kompanije, uz sva prava koja proizlaze iz rada u takvim područjima.
Međutim, za takve operacije moraju postojati i operativno-tehnički uvjeti, što trenutačno predstavlja dodatni izazov. Zračne luke u Dubaiju, Dohi i Kuvajtu trenutačno nisu u funkciji, zbog čega je zračni promet vrlo ograničen. Povremeno se razmatra mogućnost prijevoza preko Saudijske Arabije, odnosno preko zračnih luka u Rijadu i Dammamu, koje su zasad otvorene.
U slučaju potrebe za pomoći, hrvatski pomorci mogu se obratiti diplomatsko-konzularnim predstavništvima Republike Hrvatske u regiji. Na raspolaganju su veleposlanstva i konzulati u Kuvajtu, Kataru i Ujedinjenim Arapskim Emiratima, koji mogu pružiti konzularnu pomoć te, kada postoje tehnički uvjeti, pomoći u organizaciji repatrijacije.
